It’s that time of the year again, where all American celebrate the anniversary of the legalization of booze! Yes, for all you youngsters, alcohol was at one time illegal. It was called the Eighteenth Amendment, aka Prohibition. That is, until December 5th, 1933 rolled around. Utah, the final state needed for a three quarters majority, ratified the 21st Amendment, repealing Prohibition and restoring the American right to a celebratory drink. And that my friend, is why we are celebrating. On December 5th, Cole’s will have their annual Repeal Day party with live music, the Jimmy Barella Cocktail Competition (with LA’s finest), an ice luge and last but not least, a $5 Old Overholt Rye Punch. Come celebrate with us! 6pm – 2am
