Calendar of Events
Tonight at 7pm we will be hosting Global Brand Manager Gerry Tosh from Highland Park Disillery. Gerry will taste and educate us on Highland Park's incredible line, including the 12 year, 15 year, 18 year, and the Freya from the Valhalla Collection. Don't miss this. Some of us know of the rabid enthusiasm many Highland Park fans share.
A Welcome Punch will be served at 6:30pm, so come early and get a good seat. Please remember that your RSVP does not guarantee you a seat, we will fill the room to capacity, and begin the tasting at 7pm sharp. Late-comers or those unable to get in are invited to enjoy discounted drams of Highland Park with their paid-up Whiskey Society membership card while they wait to meet Gerry after the event.
Please RSVP on the link below, we look forward to seeing you!
Seven Grand Whiskey Society memberships can be purchased at the bar, dues are $120 for a year, and allow you to bring a guest to any event. First-timers can pay a $15 fee for admittance. For more information, hit the link beneath my signature.
If you haven't come down to check out the Bar Jackalope yet, please do so, we would love to host you, and are very excited about our new addition to Seven Grand. Check out what Garrett from the Tasting Table had to say:

Also, there is a huge, crazy whiskey event going on in Las Vegas this week. The organizers have been kind enough to offer discount codes to Seven Grand Whiskey Society members. They are: C100 for $100 off the Connoisseur Ticket, and HR300 for $300 off of the High Roller package. You can get your tickets here:
We hope to see you there, or at least on this Tuesday to meet Gerry Tosh.

And here's Gerry giving a little Whiskey Tasting 101:
So many people in downtown LA already make Tuesday nights at Seven Grand their local spot for great music and a HUGE array of whiskies to choose from. But for those who may not be familiar with The Makers you should make sure to make Seven Grand on Tuesdays a point of destination when in downtown. Their show is a 100% improvised wall of sound that is influenced from every from everyone from Miles Davis, Radiohead, Medeski Martin and Wood, Four Tet and Mars Volta to Meshell N'degeocello.
They go on 10P and jam out till 1A and there is never a cover. Take it from the locals, it's a must see show!
