Music Monday: Destiny O’Dempsey live at Casey’s August 17th

August 13th, 2012 — 3:21pm

How I met Destiny O’Dempsey: Destiny O’Dempsey texted me by accident one night thinking I was someone else. No, It wasn’t one of those sort of texts! We had never met, or spoken. When I got the accidental text I responded back with who is this? She responded back that it was Destiny and I asked what she wanted, and if we knew each other. She didn’t want anything really. She was just saying hi to her friend.

Fast forward, we became friends after that mistaken text. She mentioned she was in a band and I asked her to email me a song. When she did I was blown away. I told her I would give her a gig anytime.
That text turned out to be a friendship and admiration for her musical talent. She’s sings it from the heart and it comes out so pure, and honest. Imagine being locked down in a snowed in cabin and she decides to pick up a guitar and sing some songs to make the time go by faster while waiting for the snow to melt. The only thing is, you won’t want the snow to melt once she gets started. Check her out at Casey’s performing live with maybe a few friends on August 17th. No Cover! In the heat you won’t have to worry about getting snowed in!

When asked how she describes herself she says…”I am just a ray of light in the myriad reflection of divine universal connection. I will listen & work to be deserving of the blessing inside of every lesson”.
