The Golden State of Cocktails Announces Debut: Three-Day Conference and Celebration of California Cocktail Culture Comes to Los Angeles January 2014!

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA— January 26th-28th of 2014 will mark the debut of California’s first annual, premiere cocktail celebration: The Golden State of Cocktails. Led by an advisory board of prolific personalities within the cocktail community, the event is designed to both educate and celebrate, reinforcing California’s role as a premier cocktail destination on the global stage.

The Golden State of Cocktails will serve as a hands-on trade show, ceremony and festival for members of the industry and media, and will include a gala celebration for consumers.  All content at The Golden State of Cocktails will be curated by an advisory board of industry experts including:

In addition to the advisory board, Alex Day and Dave Kaplan from Proprietors LLC will oversee the education component of the event that will feature seminars from the best and brightest in cocktail forum with a focus on hands on, experiential education—the first of its kind at any cocktail conference.

On Sunday, January 27th, a press conference hosted by event producers Skyler Reeves and Allison Levine was held at the Los Angeles Times building to announce the debut of the Golden State of Cocktails to media and industry attendees that included a lineup of speakers from the Advisory Board and an event preview including a DIY bottled cocktail station.
