Pan Am is a rock band from Los Angeles who cites Oasis, Beatles, and The Kinks as their biggest influences. Shit, sounds good to me. Casey’s Irish Pub – The Mo-Odds
The Mo-Odds believe in a genre of rock and roll that invites dancing, shaking, twisting and wrecklessly spreading your lifeblood from amplifiers to PAs and all the way across to the bar and back.

The people of Los Angeles, having faced an omnivores dilemma of musical delicacies, choose to listen to the sounds of when R&R was still dangerous and new, the simplicity that worried parents, and the raw energy that felt good to share with other deviants. Those built the Mo-Odds and the old fashioned sound they call Los Angeles Rock and Roll. They pride themselves on their live shows where every song is played with the urgency of evacuation instructions during an emergency.

After a 15 city tour in August, The Mo-Odds won LA records mixtape contest for “best drinking song” which paired nicely with their residency at Casey’s Irish Pub in March 2010, Since then, they “brought the party” to the Silverlake Jubilee and many other fun parties. You May have seen them at The Smell, Echo Curio, El Cid, Several secret shows in the back of a U-haul in the industrial district or maybe one of them has been sitting right next to you all along. Join the Mo-Odds at Casey’s on October 1st when they return to Casey’s to break some shit, and blow your mind.
